Since I can't participate (other than comment) in the 7070 revisited gold page thread, I finally uploaded my 7070 Deception Album scanned (not too good) images (front only, so far) so I thought that I would share.

Some are halfway decent, others are just...terrible.

Interesting approach for a type set. Far cheaper than the real deal.

They are all unmarked "COPIES".

The bigger majority are virtually unobtainable, if they were real; 1856 Flying Eagle, 1943 Copper Cent, 1894-S Dime, 1916 Standing Liberty, 1839-O Half, etc...

I could hazard a guess that these are counterfeits and/or Daniel Carr reproductions. such a wide swath is interesting.

Hmm, interesting, that would explain the slightly odd appearance they all have.
Cool! Thanks!

Great set. How long did it take you to assemble it?
Thanks for sharing.

wow, I am only seeing small pictures, but most of those look good enough to fool from my vantage point.

Are any of these made out of real silver, or all they all just base metals?

I missed the copy angle and looking back it makes sense since most of the modern issues are missing.

Nice 1839 O half

Amazing that half are toned.

No Daniel Carr coins in there, otherwise this 7070 would include a 1970 or 1975 Ike, the 1975 JFK and the 1964 Franklin. (also, the 1933 Buff and 1931-S Standing Lib)
