Poll Question
In an effort to work out minting numbers and who actually gets to do the minting I need some forum input.
So I will be running a series of polls
Second poll What would you be willing to pay for a 38mm Silver CCF token? Not platted but solid Silver.(1ozt) To make things simple this would be delivered price including shipping and any fees associated with payPal etc.
Why the wide range of prices? It boils down to the initial cost of the dies and who makes them. Base price minting is around $32 for the blank and minting. (Based on today's spot price)

I voted $40 and would pay $45 for a nice design and even $50 if it was struck with a proof finish.
I'd go $50 on any 1 toz silver piece if the profits went to a CCF coin show event for children.

I voted $45 Richard but would easily do $50 if that would help offset any other minting processes and of course, any support to CCF or events :-)

My vote is $45 Richard ... but willing to do what I can to support the CCF.

I voted $40.00, but if it was a nice design and or a proof like finish I would go higher, especially if the profit was used for the kids, then you could put me down for 2.

$2.00 plus tax over spot works for me. I'm a CHEAP man!

I wouldn't have a problem paying $45 if I liked the design.

Daniel Carr did the medals for the Liberty Seated Coin Club and the silver pieces were 70 dollars each. I bought 6. I don't think 50 - 60 dollars would be unreasonable. These would be made in limited quantities so price should be set with quality and cost to manufacture. I'm certain a huge part of the cost would be to produce a die. If CCF had them made I'd be on board for some.

$40 maybe $45 if it's a nice cameo proof

I have a medal by Daniel Carr and know his work is first class, $40-$45 wouldn't hurt the wallet.

I did vote $40 but as stated by many, I would go higher if need be and if I really enjoyed the design

I am working on one. I only have paint, not publisher or anything fancy. I have some nice ideas. We will see if I can get a nice coin to enter.

Also, I would like to mention that I do like a few of the designs already submitted. Really creative members that we have. I look forward to seeing all the entries and voting on them down the road

I voted for $50. I am enjoying my Daniel Carr medal with the Liberty Seated design. The fact that my name is on it makes it special. Also, each buyer's 1 oz. gold bullion coin was melted to produce the medal. With the option to have my name engraved on the edge, $70 would not be a problem for me.
Note to mds308: Have fun at the show! And please report on the expected delivery date for the silver medals.
