I think it is worth the same as modern Canadian 5 cent coins I find in the US, 5 cents in Canada. I have been told many of the modern foreign coins I find roll searching aren't worth much but I save them anyhow.

Agravator, 1984D nickel is only worth 5 cents in Canada or the US, unless you have a mint one.

I take it there not much value for mid to late 20th century currency if the form of a coin unless it made out of silver or of any interest if they stop making a coin out of 90-95 percent copper.

Just a regular old American nickel...but on the positive side, if you don't have it than any coin can be a space filler :)
