If the RCM wanted to stop the preselling on ebay and wanted to ban presellers from MC ordering (I highly doubt they want to do either), it would cost almost nothing and it is very easy to figure out who most of the sellers are.

Quote: Seriously? Selling an unreleased product? It's as outrageous as farmers selling their fall crop in spring.

Wait. So are you guys saying reselling coins in general is bad, or just selling coins that haven't been released yet? Quote: It's as outrageous as farmers selling their fall crop in spring. You can't really compare the two as there are tons of factors that weigh in on agriculture such as weather, drought, etc. As long as the seller is 100% certain that they will have the coin, why is it bad? Couldn't they reserve the coin at their PO?

Presellers do not do anything wrong as soon as promise will be properly executed. Who's at fault it's CanadaPost (for leaking info/pictures) and RCM (for allowing CP to sell coins so early).

I don't think there's anything worng with preselling either. Someday maybe I'll have access to early ordering so that I can do it too. It is kind of amusing that one preseller pretended to be enforcing a bogus RCM rule.

Got the message too. This guy is being a whiner. Nothing is stopping him from doing this too.

The worst part is that the angus guy not only sent out emails, but he went out and bought some coins. He bought one from my friend and refuses to send payment. Then when my friends tries to buy something from him he found out the Angus guy had already blocked him. Now that's playing dirty.

I've heard a few things about Angus Coins, none of it very good. Everything I've read makes him sound like a bit of a crook. I have never bought anything from him, so don't have any personal "I got shafted" stories, but I read a few on, I believe, this forum. I'm sure a search would pull them up. Interesting to see him going after others for what he seems to do, himself! And, yeah, he really does need to learn grammar & spelling or hire someone to check his!

Your friend can initiate a nonpayment case against angus after 4 days of non-payment.

Quote: Your friend can initiate a nonpayment case against angus after 4 days of non-payment. Yes, to recover fees. But it won't hurt Ang's ratings at all (sellers cannot leave negative feedback). Only if he does that multiple times.

Quote: Your friend can initiate a nonpayment case against angus after 4 days of non-payment. No real harm caused, but it ties up an item and ties up resources just to get a refund. You can't sell the item until the case closes and he dings you for fees until you close the case. But the worse part is my friend is a new sellers and he's at his cap. He can't sell anything else unless he delists and item or clears the nonpayment issue. Non payment is a pain in the buttocks.
