Right, you can't really do anything to get back at angus for tying up the ebay account and goods for a few days. You just block him and move on. These coin wars are making for interesting drama. I can't wait to see what's next.

I have bought a few things from him for less than $2, so I haven't had any problems.

I had purchased the all silver loonie and toonie from the 2012 War of 1812 set when it first came out over a year ago from this seller. He sent me a message asking why I paid so fast (I paid the ebay generated invoice) because he was going to combine shipping but couldn't do it now because ebay deducts fees on the shipping. In his reference to ebay I quote, "They are a bunch of thefts."His auctions at the time didn't refer to combined shipping and my winning bids were well below the going selling price for those items at the time so I said I was happy to pay the total shipping. I received the items no problem at all; just sharing as it was the only time I have had a seller complain about being paid too quickly!!

I've never had any dealings with him before today. I have seen his auctions and thought his prices are high, but that's not illegal or immoral. I have heard rumors about from other coin dealers. Personally I've just avoided him, I don't believe in creating trouble. But I think he crossed the line this time. His action are not becoming and if he wants to play dirty I think everybody should know what kind of person he is.

Angus very kindly asked me to raise the price of my 2012 penny rolls back in early 2012 ;)
Back then people were paying him about $30 per roll of pennies

@dooby you're buddy from the gta? Seriously if the slithering snake Benoit doesn't pay for that coin, and he has some spare time and money I'd suggest taking the matter to small claims court. Drive up and deliver the papers to him personally as its a hour ride from the gta. Oh don't forget to film the situation and post it on YouTube.

If the coins were more valuable maybe, but to file a claim for small claims court would more than the value of the item. Not really worth it. My buddy is also an older gentleman who doesn't speak English well. I'm just helping him sell off some of his extra coins on ebay. I have to admit your youtube idea is good. This coin selling game has become very cut throat. I don't care if you try to take on, but leave the little guys alone.

The mint should contact you directly if they know the E-mail or E-bay should. I do not know who this guy is but he is certainly not the Mint.

eBay's presale policy does state you have to ship the item within 30 days of the close of the listing, anyone think that any of the butterfly presales will have them in hand by mid April?

The post office ship date is April 9 and I think the mint says april 15. Either way buyers have 45 days to request a refund before the auction expires. After 45 days you cant file a claim and you can't leave a feed back, but as long as you can provide a tracking number within that 45 days your ok.

I just offer a refund before the 45 day limit most times the person will keep waiting if you have good feedback this coming from my experience selling dino#1 I had about 25 presales and not one asked for a refund and they all got their coins after the delays months later.
