I was wondering if this coin could be a DD?

The reverse is as it should be. Do you think being a Broad strike would make it collectible or worth anything?

There are some people that collect errors of any type, so it is collectible. Since none of the design is missing, it would not have a high value (maybe less than $5). Hopefully, someone will be along with a better understanding of its value.

If the reverse is normal and not off center, this is an example of a Misaligned Die strike (MAD). The "hammer" (obverse) die was not calibrated correctly to strike the coin while in the collar which is why the coin is off only on the obverse. If the coin was not seated in the collar both sides would have been off-center. If a MAD is off by more than 5% it has some nominal value. Yours would fit that category, in my opinion. Nice coin!

If the reverse is normal, then it wouldn't be a broadstruck. It would be a MAD coin. But what does the edge of the coin look like? It might be something else?

I wondered if it might be a partial collar on the outside rim. I would hold on to it.
