Poll Question

I am completely new to this so appreciate your help.
Just going through Grandpa's old coin collection. I came upon this 1964 Washington quarter that has at least one very obvious error on the front of the coin. The back seems to be off center. Has anyone ever seen this? Is this a valuable coin?

Thank you for your patience with me........
My camera must not be very good. No substance on the coin. The "in God we trust" is over that blank part of the coin. Smooth finish.
Will try posting the back again. I see that picture is even worse. will try again.
Thanks!

mbraun13, when you upload pictures, the front and back have to be different file names, otherwise you will only see the last one uploaded.

Looks like a toned coin. Check to see if it is a type "C".

The front of the coin(obverse) had two pieces of tape on it at one time. The area to the left of the tape and the area in the middle where the tape did not cover the coin has toned/tarnished. The reverse seems to be perfectly fine, all of the design is present and the rim is complete so it is not off-center.

There was a piece of tape over the front of the coin, but not in that front area. Over the back of the head you can see where it was. My Grandfather had a piece of tape on it to mark it for some reason. Unfortunately he has passed so can't ask him about it.
