Bonus points for the first person to mention what type of slab it's in, should be obvious if you know what to look for. :)

If anybody VAM's it, they're my hero.

Typical so-so strike with weakness on the obverse near the rim (including the date digits) and high points of Liberty's hair. Luster looks strong. The shallow scratch on Liberty's neck is the most obvious mark and there are smaller minor nicks on the eagle, including what looks like a dent by the lower right corner of E in ONE.

Looks solid for MS-64 overall. I don't know about the VAM but the long, arcing die crack across the bottom of Liberty's neck to T in TRUST is common on many Peace dollars; maybe it is a VAM clue as well.

Sure looks like a PCGS slab, plus you kinda gave it away in your title. Trick question, perhaps?

Looks like a PCGS Original Green Holder (OGH)

I agree with MS-64

I will guess it is graded MS-65 and it is in a rattler holder because the gasket looks similar to ones I have seen in other rattlers. Personally, I am not sure if I would grade it above MS-64+ because of the light scratch on the neck. If it didn't have it, I think it would be easy 65. Nice coin though!

This is quite attractive for an MS63. I've seen a number of MS64 Peace dollars with more marks.
