Picked up an 1875-S Twenty Cent Piece at the same time I bought the Trade dollar in my other thread. I have always loved this type coin. My late grandfather gave me my first Twenty Cent Piece when I was 6 or 7, which I then polished (I still have it as it is a treasured part of my collection).

Opinions on grade?

G6 or VG8 it's really a 7 but no graders use that, right inbetween G/VG.

I like unusual denominations too. I'd guess this one is VG8 or so. Neat story about your first 20c piece too!

I don't know what that is in the obverse pic, but it is NOT a scratch on Miss Liberty.

VG8. I'm still missing one of these in my type set.
