I found this quarter in my pocket change, I know its PMD. I just wonder what someone did to it. What they used to do that lol. Thought it was kind of neat.

Never saw one like that before but to me it looks like it got used as a spacer and then pounded but it is more likely that it got stuck in some machine and beat up.

I have one like that too but those marks are only on one side, and they are all smoothed together, less jagged. I thought it was the automatic coin roll machine being defective or something.

Could have been squeezed with a old fashion bottle cap. key hole saw? Why they do it, who knows?
