He linked a video using the forum's "Youtube" tag to a URL-shortened link rather than the full URL. URL shortening is very easily corruptible to redirect at malware, and we don't allow it here.

For instance, I can't correct his post, because I can't see the original link and even if I could I'd have no real idea where it directed.

Bill Ladd is well known in the NE as a Colonial relic detectorist.
Awesome find it's just a shame it's quartered but this was common in Colonial times to pay for goods. Much more common with Spanish silver.

A question for the Colonial collectors, since it was common for people to cut coins during that time would a grading service authenticate and grade this piece of a shilling? Being cut I would think it would get a possible details grade at best.

I'm sure he wouldn't have a hard time selling this coin as is if he so desired.
