Mintstate from the picture. Maybe a 61 or 62.

The coin actually does not look too bad, almost MS-63...

I have never seen one of these things in less than some sort of Mint State grade. This one? MS 62, maybe 3. I have a $10 myself. The Canadian $5 and $10, for some unknown reason, really appeal to my eye.
One of the few modern gold coins in my collection. Most of the other gold coins in my collection are ancient.

62..because of the 2 deeper hits under the V. 14's were always tough to see in perfect shape....

Gold coins are hard to grade ... there seems to be a good rim nick and a few in the field on the obverse ... I wouldn't be disappointed if it came back MS-62 but MS-63 would be a nice bonus ! Cheers !!
