This crusty old gal has seen some action. One of the rarer coins in my collection. 1828 25/50 quarter. It is in a PCGC holder. Thoughts and comments?

Thr reverse looks VG, but the obverse not quite.

Prethen, it is my experience that Bust Halves and Bust Quarters wear differently due to size, strike, weight, relief etc differences. The 1828 25/50 is a quarter. It wouldn't be comparing apples to apples IMO.

I'll go a VG10 grade here, the reverse is nice, don't know if it will pull the obverse up from a VG8 but I think it might have on this coin.

Well, I don't have a pic of the holder with me, but this coin is, in fact, a PCGS G-6. Good job guys!
