This crusty old gal has seen some action. One of the rarer coins in my collection. 1828 25/50 quarter. It is in a PCGC holder. Thoughts and comments?   |

Prethen, it is my experience that Bust Halves and Bust Quarters wear differently due to size, strike, weight, relief etc differences. The 1828 25/50 is a quarter. It wouldn't be comparing apples to apples IMO.

I'll go a VG10 grade here, the reverse is nice, don't know if it will pull the obverse up from a VG8 but I think it might have on this coin.
