Richrich3849 New Member United Kingdom 20 Posts	Posted 05/21/2013 10:17 am I've worked in print for allot of years and it seems to me that what you have there is either a defect caused by someone intending to remove the black ink purposely. Or you have what is called in the print business ``the make readies``. (This is the printing presses first few hundred sheets of paper that get thrown away, this used for the printing press to get the densities of the ink up to the right standard). Was it printed by del LA rue? I don't know much about Australian currency. Report this Post to the Staff

As Candace says the red is all there and don't think it is possible to remove the black ink without affecting the red. The words Twenty Dollars under the 20 show no disturbance of the red ink.
