Picked this one up at the local coin shop, they were going to send it off for grading but let me purchase it raw. Really liked the coin and didn't have an 1820 yet so I bought it.

What would you grade this coin?

Thanks,
Joe2007

Slightly tougher date. Not really sure on the O# but I'd say based on photos, a VF25-30 coin.
Nice pickup!

Nice. I'd like to have seen it out of the album, without plastic in front of it, but I think VF35 does it. I believe this one is O-106; look for a die line connecting the tops of the ME in AMERICA.

I think this might just make XF40.

Good observation Dave!
Did not even see that. Looks like a flip.
Yeah, I prefer they are taken out of any holder, minus TPG, for photographing.

I am in the VF-35 camp. maybe a shot at XF-40. a clearer pic of the obverse might show more detail. very nice looking coin.

Here is another picture of the obverse outside of the flip. Tweaked the brightness/contrast a little bit to make the detail on a little more apparent. Looks more like photos in previous post in hand.

I'm going with XF-40. Her hair looks too good to me to be less, IMO....

VF35 at least I would think with a shot at EF40, nice bust half.
