Hi everyone,

Just wondering if the serial CJ06 880088 on a $10 note I've been given is valuable or not?

I ask as it is the same when flipped upside down, and also a radar?
Usually I keep first prefix although thought this was interesting.

The note itself is in good condition regarding colours although it would appear to have done its rounds.

Any thoughts / suggestions would be appreciated regardding value or the type of serial as I am undecided upon keeping or letting it go at this stage.

Regards - Matt

Radars are always sought after and upside down (and mirror image) would be considered quite special.
Definitely a keeper but, exact value, I am nor sure. What is the condition?

Its a note I would definitely keep if I found it. If its been circulated then its probably worth in the $15-30 range I reckon.

The Asians will love it because of the number 8's too. Being a double e.g 88 00 88, it also makes it more scarce than a regular radar. Well done.

Yer in Cantonese 8 is Baat3 and sounds like faat3 for fortune, wealth. But 4 is sei4 and that sounds like death sei6, numbers at ends are tonal numbers.

Definitely an awesome serial - binary radar rotator.

If you like, then definitely keep - I would! :)
