Someone in this forum once told me that the tail of the 7 has to be above both the 1 and the 0, sorry to say this one is a large date. Keep looking though, there are treasures to be found...

Large date. In the future clearer, larger photos would really help. Plus photos with the coin oriented correctly, not rotated or angled.

large date. There are many resources on this forum for identifying SD varieties. It's always good to purchase a slabbed SD to keep for reference.

Come on guys,it's a simple 45 degree rotation in your photo editor. ronbo: actually it would be better to align your coin correctly but in this case it didn't matter. Those who have been doing this for a while have trained their eyes and can spot the Lg date/Sm date easily. In time you too will get to a point where you recognize them. Also if you stick around you will get better with the photos. Keep searching and post anything you find we will gladly help you grow in knowledge and before you know it you will be helping others.Good luck.

Quote: Come on guts,it's a simple 45 degree rotation in your photo editor. I only mention this for future posts, and no, it is not a simple 45 degree rotation. When you photograph like that the light does not hit the coin correctly. It causes shadows that can throw off a correct attribution. Not trying to be harsh, just a pointer that will help this poster immensely in the future.

seal006: I said it with a wink. I then posted " actually it would be better to align your coin correctly ". I know you meant no offense, none taken.
