Yes there is MDD..but the WE looks interesting and the opposite direction of MDD for 72.Might be some MD on WE.

The WE does look like something going on, but the rest of the devices should be showing this also and I'm not seeing that in the images. It is a master die doubling example, but I would label it and keep it for now. You might want to submit it to coppercoins in the future when you find other examples. Wexler's book shows he has 6 examples listed for the San Francisco mint. But none matches your example. The only thing I could wonder if your coin is showing Machine Doubling? That could be an explanation. But I can't tell for sure from the images provided. A hands on by Bob would help in the future.

The you in Trust and the Y in Liberty look doubled to me....Whats the chances that it is the Master Hub Doubling that is also doubled? lol Don't hold your breath

Maybe I need to retire,all I see is MDD accept for the W in WE.I see the shift on the right side of the W but with that much of a shift wouldn't there be signs of some shifting on the other parts of the W if it was a DD?I am probably way off on this,if so... sorry.

Now that I've looked a second time,I see it on TRUST as well. I believe my first thoughts were correct...MDD with MD.
