I was going though my father coins and found a 1916 25 cent
belgique coin. Has any one any infomationn about it.

Hello and welcome.

Your coin is from Belgium, which was under Imperial German occupation at the time the coin was issued.

It is made of zinc, which is a terrible metal to make coins from because zinc turns black after a short while in circulation and tends to form nasty corrosion spots if left exposed to moist air. As a result, these coins are very often in very poor condition. Examples of this coin that aren't all black and corroded can be fairly valuable.

Sap is correct, Krause lists the 1916 as KM# 82, 6.5 grams, Zinc, 26 mm

Ive got one too - looks to be in good condition except for the black, no corrosion... what are these worth?
