Okay,if you experts ever decide to make this education that you give us official, here is the coin that you should use on your final exam. As in: "Name all the errors on this coin".

Have I caught them all? Am I incorrect on any of my labels? Any help would be appreciated, thank you.

I might be wrong but I think a few of the things you point to might be hair or PMD like the line on the steps of the Memorial building and the marks on Lincolns face. I do see the feeder finger scratches and the extra columns although I don't know if they are normally there or not. The die scratches under NT are die file lines from a clash clean up.

RH reverse:crack, clash, chip, feeder fingers all correct.Extra column? Don't think so, the lines in bay 7 extend onto the steps.I not sure though.
LH reverse: Looks like a small gouge unless your arrow is off.Bay 4 clash yes, below don't know.
"NT" gouge yes, scratches yes.
Obverse:crack yes. unknown, could be associated with that nasty slash under the eye.

For what it's worth, the coin doesn't have dust or hair on it... It's just my camera isn't the best ( or maybe it' the photographer?). Is it my inexperience or is this a lot of errors for one coin...

I think your photos are pretty dang good. The coin has a lot going on but the stuff you point out is not what people collect or pay for. They are just interesting to note. Now if you had major design transfer from the reverse to the obverse or the other way around you would have a collectible clash. The die scratches are pretty common. The die cracks I have never seen any like them before but they could be cracks. The line by the ear and the line on the steps on the reverse are what I question as being PMD but I am not an expert.

Thanks 7TF for your nice comments on the pics, I would like for them to be better. And you are right this is definitely going into my " cool, but worthless" box. Just thought it was so many errors on one coin that it might be somewhat educational.

I don't know enough to say it is a worthless coin, those columns you point out might be something. I am sure Coop will show up with the answer sometime soon. It seems like I learn something every time I visit this site especially when I start visiting the other sections of the forum.

If errors on a coin have to be magnified 100x under microscope to be seen, people are not interested. It is normal coin to me.

It's a shame that it doesn't have any gas bubbles.

Mdrosophila, you make a good point and I know you were talking in general, but for what it's worth I don't own a microscope...

I like it. You may couldn't sell it for much, but it is still a nice educational piece. If I found it I would put it with all my other light clashes and minor errors. You never know how the world of error coins may evolve in 20 or 30 years. I am a hoarder for that reason. You really can't go wrong. If I get to be 70 and none of the minors I have kept are worth anything, I'll buy me a candy bar or something!

The marks on the steps appears to be a gas bubble. A clash wouldn't show on that area:

The mark for the head outline would be wider that that area. So it does have a gas bubble.
Rest in Peace

Coop, What about the lines inside the memorial building. They are similar to another coin that was recently posted about.
