The obverse rim is missing. I suspect that it was sanded away. This is usually the case when the rim is missing.

So you think someone sanded it? Weird. It looks as though they may have just sanded around the edges more than the middled if that's the case.

Maybe after the sanding they made it a pocket piece to give it that worn look.

Or polished it. Who knows what they could think up. It just wasn't struck that way.

I would hold onto it because it looks interesting to me. I don't believe anyone would waste their time sanding it down. It should weigh 5.67 grams.
