I will check into the Manley book since you recommended it.

Saw a copy on ebay yesterday for a reasonable price. There is one that is asking more than $400 (not a fair price). I paid around $200.00 for both copies I purchased. One I sold to a Half Cent collector here on CCF at my cost. Manley only made about 75-125 copies of his book, they sold at $75.00 when new, and I've only seen a total of 4 copies for sale since I've been looking, and I bought 2 of them. The photos he used are fantastic! Super quality and makes for attributing Half Cents quite easy, The Breen book is also good on Half Cents but Manley's tome is outstanding. It won the NLG book of the year when published.

Get it you won't be dissapointed - guarnteed. (If you are let me know I might buy it from you).

Oh Westcoin, I didn't know that. I suppose from the way I read an earlier post it seemed like you had all books, no coins. Anyway, that is a large collection of books enough for a big library! If I lived around you I would want to see your book collection too! I am very frustrated with the LC late dates attribution. To me the Grellman book was written for uncirculated specimens. After trying to attribute and having no luck I learned that the date position is what is key on circulated cents. But that position is difficult to figure in most instances.

Tell us what other books are great besides Manley.

Heck I think I have more books than coins these days! I don't mind that at all either.
