Not to make you feel bad JeyRey but, if you paid $50.00 for this coin you paid about $20.00 too much in my opinion.

MS-60/62

What's that white spot on the reverse over the "ONE"
MS62RB with a shot at 63.

au-55 - ms-60. some dings in the letters and face of reverse also seems like a weak strike on obverse.

Besides the Reverse contacts, there are some contacts and rubs on the highest OBV parts. (center of the crown, cheek and ribbon..etc..)

Beautiful cent,..but only MS 60 to 62 Brown. Just misses out on trace red by a smidgin. IMHO..Still very pleasing piece..

A few too many marks, and the colour isn't there to get a 63 from ICCS, but I think it's better than a 60. So MS62BN

Trends for an ICCS ms63 red is $60.

Based on the opinions so far I wouldn't say $50 was a 'snag'.

Not to worry though, just learn from these mistakes.

Believe me, we've all had our fair share of bad or borderline purchases.
