After I saw another members old Merc set I decided I had to get one too. I have a high end set but I wanted an old album and old worn Mercs so I started my quest on ebay. First the album. This is the one I chose and received... Oregon coin geek.....*** GO BEAVS ! ! ! ***

i like it. as with many things, some age and "history" can add to the overall appeal of the product. I suspect that by the time you have your project completed - it will have a lot of appeal and personality.

Jeeze, going right at 'em eh? I am only missing the '16-D, but there are about a dozen coins I want to upgrade (Looking for my set to be F15 or better) before I get it and shell out a couple grand.

This album I want to be old and worn, I have the bright and shiny's. This one's gonna be antique lol. I like the high end Mercs but I sure like the looks of an honestly worn circulated dime.

If there's anything more fun than cracking a worn key date and holding it in your hand, I don't know what it is.

Thanks, it's actually an old album with clear slides. I think 1959. It also has a spot for a 1942/1 and that's gonna be a tough one.

This time I'm going to save the label and put it in the back of the album.

Really like those Library of Coins albums. My local dealer who usually overcharges, let's me have them for $5 each. Got Morgans, Barber quarters, SLQs, and Franklin halfs. All were unused. Would love to find the large cent ones.

BTW, getting the 16-D first is like eating dessert before dinner.
