Jon, that is an AWESOME Washington. I just love the coppery-colored toning!

What did it grade at? I'm thinking MS-64/65...

Thank you Dave! I do like it, it is very attractive.
The "reveal" will be forthcoming. :)
It is in a blue ANACS holder.

Anybody else?
The tics on the cheek are not imaginary, they are indeed there but difficult to see unless the angle is right.
Straight on, they scream at the camera. Not so much in hand.
As in the second photo, they are obscured a bit by their placement.
Do you get a point for "pretty"?
I will "reveal" before the day is out. :)

WOW! I don't particulary like toning on any silver coin...and on the flipside of that, I don't like silver dipped either. (cannot have it either way?)

Sharp strike. Reverse is stunning. Original skin with the toning makes this Washy very pleasing. I am going MS65. Thanks for sharing.

Well, hereya ya go. Part of my purpose here was to decide if I need to crack it out. I am thinking the answer is yes.
It did occur to me to see if I could get PCGS to cross it, but I am afraid it would not grade at the 64 or so that I believe it deserves.
Has anyone ever had a crossover to grade at a higher grade?
Ever?
Sooo, if anyone is interested I will tell ya'll how the crackout went.

Wow. The hits on the check, at most, would make this an MS63. Would definitely crack it out and send to PCGS.

Got home from work, took some shots with my fancy rig.

Very harsh lighting, a bit overexposed. Very unflattering pics, but a good image to see details.

I can make it look a bunch better!

For the record, I think it just barely deserves a 64, I think it will come back in a 63 holder.

Click here for full size. Then click on the magnifying glass for "too big".

Jon it a Beautiful Washington. You know I like toned coins and the color is beautiful and I bet it is even more so in hand. Anyway I would go for the cross over with PCGS. I believe MS63 for sure and maybe even a 64. I see no major reason why it shouldn't be. I have a MS66 and PGCS to boot that doesn't look that good. Go for it.

If this coin were slabbed in the "Omaha Bank Hoard", it would be MS65.

64+, 65 possibly. ANACS' grader must have lacked confidence.
