I'm going MS68+ incredible, one of the best looking Ike's I've ever seen, just a small mark in the field in front of his face, and another in the hair behind his ear and almost minuscule ticks on the neck keeps it from MS69 IMO. It is as close to perfect as I've ever seen in a series that is really, really tough to find superb samples. The reverse is flawless from what I can tell the photo isn't as sharp as the obverse.

I could see an MS69 possibly from them depending on how many have slabbed in the past. I'm not much up on coins made after the 1950's as to values and populations at the TPGs.

If I worked as a PCGS grader I don't think I'd have the stones to go MS69 on this one for the reasons I described above.

Again one of the NICEST Ike's I've ever seen that wasn't a proof!

That's a great Ike...the pic of the reverse has too much glare to see the fields clearly but it's easily a 67 and I'll say 68 if the reverse is as clean as the obverse

The coin is an MS-68+. I'm sorry about the reverse if that hurt anybody's ability. The coin has tremendous luster- which you can't see in the image. The luster is what pushed it over the top- as it extends throughout all the devices- even on Ikes head. The coin is also CAC- but CAC disregards + and star grades- they simply say- yet, it should be a 68.

I edited my comments to add the + and a few reasons why I couldn't go MS69 before you posted the grade, glad to see I still got it right on more modern coins!

This coin is a MONSTER! For the record going MS69 adds about $7,000 to the value.

Was about to say MS68, when I saw the 68+ comment.

This is great, with only 3 Ikes at 68+ and 3 at 69 for this year .

Could you please post a pic of the slab?
