I have no idea about that amida I'm not good with variations and such. But is the N-6 a more valuable type?

If it is an N-6 (I think it is). It is an R4 very scarce Medium Letters variety.

Definitely worth paying a little more to put that on the holder.

I'm in @ XF45 (revise - AU50)

R4..about 200 known (if N-6)

What are some of the characteristics so that I can try to get close up pics of it for you so that you can tell. I know there is a substantial price jump from large to medium letters

This is definitely not an N-6. On the reverse of the N6, the leaf at the top of the wreath extends to the right of the second S in STATES. In this specimen, it ends in the middle of the S.

This in an N5, and has a rarity rating of R3 (201-600 specimens). Here, the inner circle is broken between star 1 to 183 in the date. The diagnostic leaf positions match perfectly on the reverse. Also, the final A in AMERICA is recut.

A beautiful coin that doesn't need a slab in my opinion.
