The other day I was pulling some coins out of their mint packaging looking to get some graded and I found this cent. There appears to be an extra stamp of the Lincoln Memorial roof line pattern diagonally above the upper left portion of the Memorial on the reverse side of the coin. Has anyone seen anything like this before? Thanks in advance Chris

A larger image might show more. But if this was the roof line, where is the rest of the design? A closer look would help a lot. It might be a few other things?

Correct me if I'm wrong but this could be struck through hardened grease that formed into the design then fell off. The fact that it's still a heavy strike-through grease in that area and the anomalies when it passes through the letters on the coin leads me to that conclusion.
Usually it only happens with letters though, hence the term for it being "dropped letters".

I think it could be a strikethrough, but I'm not sure if it was dropped grease or possibly a lamination flake.

Thanks everyone, I was trying to get a bigger picture but the 100kb limit has messed me up. I'll try to figure it out later tonight and repost the pictures to show more detail.
Albert, it is a 1973-D.

Upload your pictures to Photobucket and copy and paste the "Image" link from photobucket into the body of your post here.
If you want a good, free photo editor...download Photoscape. You can resize your picture with it as well as many other functions. I also use Paint.Net which is another free photo editor.

The first thing we need to know is whether the extra roof line is raised or sunken (incuse). Once we have that tidbit of information, we can narrow down the possibilities. To me it looks incuse. If that's the case, then it's an unusual dropped filling.
