I sold some PCGS and NGC certified Morgan dollars to Heritage last week. I sent them a photograph and they provided me a value estimate of about $3,000 for an outright buy which was actually slightly more than I paid for the coins.

Sent them the coins and they honored the quoted price. Very easy transaction.

If anyone is thinking about selling certified coins, highly recommend you give Heritage a try very good honest business that quotes a fair price

It'd be interesting to see if they list it in one of their auctions soon...

I would be very surprised if they sell it for less than they paid you.
So if it's a fair price? Don't know. It would probalby sell for more on ebay.
But that's just my initial thoughts.

If you would cosign the coin, I can't speak highly enough of heritage. Extremely professional service.

The original theory behind slabbed coins: they could be traded or sold sight unseen based on the independent third party assessment of the grade.

However today it seems slabbed coins need to be CAC'd before they can be traded sight unseen (good thing we have digital cameras and the internet and email nowadays)
