weerdsteev Pillar of the Community United States 1291 Posts	Posted 08/06/2013 9:03 pm I know a guy who, for whatever his reasons, wants to get his hands on as many dateless Buffalo nickels as he can. About a year ago I traded him 2000 dateless for some Seated halves - and posted photos on this forum. We just did it again...this time for 3000 dateless, Philly mint Buffalo nickels. Shown below are the 6 halves I received for the nickels. Not sure if it'll go down as the greatest coin trade ever, but I'm pleased with it.... Report this Post to the Staff

Hard to tell for sure from the pictures, but I think the 1861-O was minted before the confederates took over the New Orleans mint.
