Looks like a good trade to me. That 1861-O is especially interesting to me. I think you did well, and I'm with Moe, I'm a big fan of any Seated Liberty Half.

Just think, that '61-O could be the very struck one made before the Confederate reverse die was finished... at which point they realized they only had six blanks left!

I would make that trade every time. Dateless Philly Buffalo nickles are all too common and probably not much of a market for acid dates. Congrats!

I like the circulated cameo look of that 1857-O. Hard to tell for sure from the pictures, but I think the 1861-O was minted before the confederates took over the New Orleans mint. This might help to ID it: http://blog.davidlawrence.com/index...lars-1861-o/Nice trade IMO!

Its either a Louisianna state issue or a US government issue, I didn't see either of the markers for the Confederate dies.
