Picked this up at auction over the weekend. Best example I have ever had. I am having a hard time deciding if the hair on the obverse is slight wear or a soft strike. The cleanness of the cheek makes me think soft strike. Anyway, depending on your grading thoughts I may send it off to a TPG.
Thx, Jim

Jim...I see no wear on the leaves or the ribbon on the wreath on the reverse, and I agree that the cheek looks full and rounded. I would say that you've got an uncirculated specimen. I don't have the expertise to tell what level MS you have, but it looks very, very nice. Congratulations.

Looking at the obverse I thought it might be AU, but after checking the reverse I have to go with uncirculated. I'm hoping to find some in this series but am having a hard time with grading the obverse. For some reason I expect to see more detail in the hair. Great looking coin.
