Nice! What kind of microscope are you using, and did it also take the full coin pics?

It's a celestron 44302-b, takes decent photos and good thing is you can detach it from the holder to move it around for angles.
Wonder what haxby this would fall under? I think almost every second letter In the legend is doubled and even the den tickles look doubled.

Quote: Had some fun playing with my new micro and one of my favorite coins Do you mind sharing some tips. I am having hard time with getting the coins focused and also the lighting reflects a lot on the newer coins. I have the same model as yours. Thx

To get some of the close up photos I bring the lense almost touching the table and then gently slide the coin under it. Just practicing angles and distance too is fun also try detaching the scope from the holder and manoeuvring it around.
Hopefully I can discover some nice haxby varieties if I can learn how to use the charts!

In the experts opinion, what would ICCS atribute as comments? Double Legend? Repunched Letters?

Iam using a Veho VMS-001, I put it on some books with the coin on the table for a full shot. If the coin is real shiny then an alternate light source is best I find as opposed to the built in lights. The cool thing is I can point it out the window miles away and focus it in like a telescope too. Was only $80.00 at Best Buy and comes with a photo editing software. I use it nearly everyday.

Looks like a Haxby PC59-321 http://www.vickycents.com/obv-o32.htmlWhat caught my eye is the E in DEI and the recut slip onto leaf 9 on the reverse. Is there a Die crack to either leaf 9 or 12? ed

I'll have a quick look when I get home and get back to you. Is this a common HAXBY variety?
