If you are an ANACS customer, check your email.
I got one from them yesterday stating that they are giving me an "Insider Gift" which is good for 2 free "15 day" grades.
The coins are going in the mail this afternoon.
Good luck. Edited by jerseyben 08/28/2013 07:20 am

Edit: I actually only had 1 coin to send in; my dug 1793 Half Cent. I already know it will come back details for environmental damage and corrosion. The grade will either be G or VG. I actually just wanted to get it into a slab because unfortunately it is in a fragile state so sealing/preserving it will be the best thing I can do for it. I decided to also send in an 1884-CC GSA Morgan simply because it was the same (shipping) price whether I sent in 1 or 2 coins. It will probably come back MS62 or MS63 if I'm lucky.

I received the same email offer a couple days ago. I sent off a Seated half dime and dime to see if they would come back as problem free. I will of course share the results.

I got a voucher from one of the guys who works for a delivery company who stops by us at work. He buys a lot of ANACS First Day of Issue Silver and Gold Eagles from HSN and got 2 vouchers for 4 free graded coins from ANACS. Since he didn't have any ungraded coins he gave them to me and I sent some coins in and I tried to register on their website to view the progress but their website wouldn't complete the final step. Anywho I got the same email from them and will have to dig up 2 more coins to send in. I got my results back and am ok with them. Will post pictures when I get them back. Took 20 days from the day they got them until today when I called them and they said "It looks like they just finished them up and they should be sending them out today" My boss uses the same line on our customers he forgot about so I don't know if turnaround time is 20 days or they hurried up and graded them after I called.

Ironically I actually had signed up to be an "ANACS insider" on the 28'th, a bit before this thread was created.. I've never sent coins into ANACS before, but have a group that's taking the trip soon. So I guess my question is: this promo is for "insiders", not necessarily people who have submited before... So being that I signed up the day the OP received the email I wonder if I'm eligible for the two free grading's? Probably not... But... It would be nice. I guess I should call them and find out... Can't hurt to try right, lol. Talk about timing... I've been meaning to do it for a while...

I've just been trying to sign up as an ANACS insider as well and had the same trouble as jack jeckel. Got to the last step and got an error message.
I thought it might be because I'm in Australia.
I've recently picked up some Morgans I want graded and ANACS seems like the most reasonably priced service. Gunna cost me a fortune in shipping anyway. I have to guesstime the prices I think the coins are worth on their shipping form. A bit bizarre.
As third party graders go I know PCGS and NGC are considered good but is ANACS also up there?

Well, a little update from my last post... That all worked out.. I emailed ANACS (a while ago now) and they said I had just made the promo! So I got my two free submitions!! Yeah!! Gweidion, Yes, ANACS is one of the "top 3" in the U.S. along with PCGS and NGC. Many people prefer them with Morgan's as they attribute all of the VAM's while the other two only do select ones. I find there grading to be quite accurate as well, although I have to say I prefer there old small holders, I'm not really a fan of the new ones... I like NGC's and PCGS's better.

Brilliant thank you NathanASE. I'll definitely send my submission to them as some of my Morgans have supposedly got different VAMs. Once I get them back I'll try out the board's skills at grading from photos against what ANACS comes up with but that will be months away.

Quote: as some of my Morgans have supposedly got different VAMs. Just so you know you have to pay extra for them to research/attribute the VAM's on the label. For the regular price they'll only grade them with no mention of the VAM. And also, in case you don't know.. All Morgan's are one VAM or another, most are quite common... While others are quite rare and insanely pricy. If you post good/detailed pics of both sides, with a close up on the date and the mint mark we can tell you what VAM's you have, and if they would be worth attributing on the label. Out of curiosity what Morgan's are you sending? And what are you thinking they'll grade? (Morgan's are my bread and butter.. What I primary collect, so I'm just curious)

My purchases are coming from an estate sales person. Seems very reasonable and the couple of latest estates have had nice coins. I've probably paid too much over all but always wanted some Morgans. I'll try to post some pictures for you. I have no idea what they will grade for, I'll rely on ANACS to sort that for me. Whilst I can get some pictures I have difficulty uploading them to the board as there is a size limitation of 100k per picture. I'll see what I can do. None of mine will be "rare" or "expensive" ones.
