Just today I picked up this 1923 cent from a dealer's junk box. Aside from one small mark of verdigris, which has since chipped off, this coin seems rather nice for a 25-cent purchase. How would you assess my coin in terms of condition and value? Thanks

SHAFTA9a- Thanks! Yeah, I couldn't quite believe it when I saw it. All in all not a bad day at the junk box.

I think it is a little better than a 12, perhaps a 15.
Still not much to see on the headband of the crown, but the moustache is not flat, and the eyebrow is only a bit gone.

Not quite as famous as the key Australian '23 ha'penny, which is the same size as the Canadian large Cent, and used the same Mackennal bust.
