What do you guys think the strike is kind of weak but the surfaces don't look to bad maybe vf+

Can you post a pic of the reverse? If the reverse looks anything like the obverse, this is one nice coin! 1872 is one of the toughest dates in the whole IHC series!

Obverse does look high VF, but I don't like it. I'm not sure this wear is natural circulation wear.

Can you please post a pic of the reverse, and if possible larger pic of the obverse?

the reverse is a little stronger and the coin has that woodgrain appearance I got it for the lack of marks

i hope this helps I do see some luster on the low points
and it has that natural color but I've been wrong before

I think this coin is stronger than the previous grades. I grade the obvious XF40. Reverse XF45+

that just it I dont think theres a whole lot wear on the coin I think the strike is very poor
explaining the lack of details. the diamonds are visible on the very low spots, surfaces are beautiful but the strike
is what holds this coin back. the pictures arent the best I apologize
