Bababooey Valued Member United States 374 Posts	Posted 09/11/2013 12:52 am Looking for a decent book. For example I have one for liberty and Shield nickels, published by the Red Book people. I like that type of style. I'm looking for something like similar for Barber coins. Mostly halves and quarters, but if dimes were included that would be fine. I don't really need to know in great depth about errors and varieties, just general info. Any ideas? Report this Post to the Staff

After David L. Feigenbaum (David Lawrence) passed away, his son John, made the entire library free, at least the online editions. These books still sell for a good amount to collectors on ebay, I've seen copies go from $40-120 each for various editions the past year. "Buy the Book Before You Buy the Coin" - Aaron R.
