VF-XF seems about right. What do you pay for one like this?

XF-40 looks about right in my opinion with the obverse at 45 and the reverse at 40. Some scratches in the field to the right of Liberty's head.
Has anyone else ever seen a orange tone on a circulated Capped Bust Half? Natural?

My question is the same Joe- the same seller has another capped bust (1829) with similar color. I think it is a nice looking color, but seems fishy.

White balance on the seller's camera is off. The coin looks yellower than it should as a result. I'm worried this one gets a Details grade from a TPG because of the scratches or the ding at about 3:00 reverse; it's a solid XF otherwise.

These coins always perplex me. So often one side has a significantly better strike than the other making it hard to assign a grade. This coin looks to me to be AU on the observe and XF40 on the reverse.

Thanks all! You think a TPG would give it details? The scratches on the obverse don't concern me as much as the ring nicks on the reverse.

I'm actually more worried about the scratches. The ding is something a TPG might concede to circulation, and my gut tells me the photography understates those scratches.
