Hello all
Went through a few coins today and found this 1963 penny .The ear looks all messed up.Really can't make anything out of it.Not sure if it is PMD or Struck through .I made several pics. What do you guy's think about this?
Thank you very much

Looks like PMD but struck through is a possibility, good eye!

If the obverse was a pizza, I'd say deep dish. closer details photos would help. If this coin was UNC you could see if you have same luster inside the hole. I have a War Nickel ANACS just graded strike through based on mint luster.

What does the reverse look like? If it is normal, I'm thinking a struck through as well. If it is pushed out, damaged.

Just the head area affected? Probably just a struck through.

I see no tooling in the depression, and as coop pointed out normal reverse. I vote for strike through
