Here are some scans of my new (collection of one) Capped Bust quarter. I picked this up at the Auburn show yesterday. I really appreciate any comments you may have. Do you agree that it is a 1825/4? What grade would you assign?

The white dust specks are on the airtite. Perhaps I should try using some compressed air to get them cleaner. At 12:00 on the reverse the coin is tilted back so you can't see the edge. Soon I'll get going on some photography.

I can't comment on the 5 over 4, but I do think this grades about F-12. The wear on the face and forehead to me almost takes it down to VG... Who knows, I may be way off here.

Very cool over-date...I just cant tell you which one it is..
They are all overdates - either 1825/2, 1825/3, or 1825/4/3.

Have to find someone with the Browning #. I will try to find out which it is.

Edit: You are correct. It it an 1825/4/3.

Is this coin slabbed? Looks like an F-12 to me with nice dark toning. Problem fee circulated Bust Quarters are much scarcer than the halves and going up rapidly in price.
