I think the obverse dings are severe enough to put it in the 60 or 61 range. I'll go with 61

It looks like a Ms-62+ to me. Could make a low end 63.

Fairly graded as MS-61 due to excessive contact marks. Might go MS-62 however due to the "CC Bump" that grading companies seem to grant Carson City coins on occasion.
Even though many GSA dollars have been broken out of their holders it is still easy to find the 1884-CC and you should not have to pay much of a premium to get a significantly nicer example. If it were my coin I'd be on the lookout for an upgrade.

Thanks for the comments. This coin is in a GSA holder and is not graded. I would guess it as a MS61 due to the hits on the cheek/face and other areas. I won't be having it graded, but I wanted to see if I was anywhere close in my thinking. Thanks again!
