ok.. Here it is a 1998 Far AM. How does it look? Come on. I gotta get one right. Looked at so many of these looking for close variety. The '92 P & D. The same for the '99. Has to be the one. As I respect all your opinions. Well?

GREAT! One right 1 Million to go, Up next the 1965 25c Washington quarter Value? I'll post in grading section. My guess MS63 At 2nd look, unless the temple area might show little rubbing. But maybe not. Any ideas? Thanks

Joey, are all of those pics of the same coin? The one of the full reverse doesn't look right. The FG looks different and the A in states doesn't look evenly spaced. The close ups are definately wide.

Glad you were able to see on 2nd look.Constantly working to get better pictures. I know they aren't the best. But will pass. Only can get better.
One day maybe a new set up.

It is the Wide "AM". I've never hear it called a far AM. The "AM" is centered. The term far is subjective. They are in two locations, close and wide. There is no in between. Just these two styles of "AMs"

That's right. What you say. Guess I got it from Lincoln Resource. "Wide and Close AM's" is how it is on their Home page. I was using it to referring for this coin. For a minute there I was wondering myself after reading your notes. Had to think "where did I get that from?". Is Lincoln Resources the only place where this varieties value is listed? Do you know of an other?

joey, you and other newbies are always interested in values. For up to date pricing on errors & varieties (if they're listed) go to ebay advanced search. There you will see what sold and for how much and what didn't sell. Much more reliable than an arbitrary value from a book or web site.

numismo, #1 I am probably keeping in my collection for awhile. Only was curious as I only see listed value in LR's site.
Don't you think it is good for me to know. To have the knowledge in case I am asked?
I see this asked by others all the time. Yes even in conversations between so called veterans.
As I've stated before. Do not know why members are so quick and eager to jump on some issue wrong stated info. with someone who making an effort to earn without chastising others kn the process. A kind reminder will do and be more helpful.
As in most cases the member is doing there their best. And remarks just bring them to feel self conscious and attacked.
I know this as I am a Sensei and teach kids. Noticed through experience. This is the best path for results. Unless it is actually my intention to like this to my students. And the results from that is not positive.
Wolfs just waiting to stomp on the innocent. But no harm here. I take no offense. No ego involved. As in others it seems. Thought we are all here to help each other and make friends. As we belong to the same community. yes?
I have had this experience even at other sites. And other pillars of their community. In all not a help. Only self serving.
I hope to receive constructive help from all. And I also hope to do this for other members.
