Have been finding interesting errors this last summer and finally posting some.

The fist is a pic I have not been able to find online or otherwise, but when I saw this, there was no doubt I found one!

Also got a couple of these - easy to see the clash details with no magnification - but did it anyway for the pic:

Any idea on value of any of these?

An incomplete planchet is an error. A RPM is a variety. The clash are interesting. I think they would fit into the error category on ones like your coin. But most clashes are very common. The one in bay 3 is probably the most common and the one in bays 7 & 8 are probably the next common. They don't warrant a premium as they are common. Others are more interesting. Yours is a good example of that. The Jailhouse cent is an interesting one. There are others, but as for value, it is what you can get for a coin that determines value for these.

Thanks for that clarification, I was never really an error collector until I started noticing some roll hunting. I know I need to learn the terminology.

OK - I was not that far off. After posting and re-reading I suspected you were talking about the areas in between pillars on the REV of the cent.

Wat had confused me was the bay references were mentioned before the Lincoln Cent was mentioned.

BTW - been wanting to anyway, so I sent a donation - PM sent to you.

Something is confusing here. Earle42 is showing pix of Kennedy halves and coop is talking LMC terminology and clashes in bays 3, 7 & 8. What LMCs?

On another post I mentioned about clashes and the subject of common clashes came up and when I mentioned Cent common clashes, I used a term that he didn't understand. Thus the illustration.
