I have this $1 Eisenhower that has just about all reverse elements tripled or maybe more.
I can't find any reference to a tripled reverse 1973-S Eisenhower dollar.
Any guidance will be appreciated.

Welcome to the board.
Nice find. You might try Coneca.org and check their master variety listings.
They have quite a few for Eisenhower dollars.Nothing listed in Cherry Pickers Guide.

CONECA has Double Die Reverse listed for 1973-S but no tripled reverse.

Would I send him high def photos or would I have to mail it to him?
May I gather from the lack of response to this post that this might be new?

There is always the possibility of a new variety.
First contact him by email and he would then advise you what needed to be done.
Check the coneca.org website to get contact info and other general info.
By the way those are pretty good photos in your op.
From past experience the coin would have to be mailed to him. That said,it has been
some years since I have sent anything off for attribution and they may do things
differently.
hope this helps

I bought a 20 coin tube of Eisenhower dollars on ebay. This was one of them.

For me the coolest thing about this coin is the tripled Eagles Eye.

I'm pretty low tech but the camera is the key. I use a Kikon Coolpix S6100 that cost a couple hundred dollars. It's a small pocket size camera but it has 16.0 Megapixels and those megapixels are the key. It's hard to find 16.0 megapixels in any camera at any price. I have a table top camera stand with fixed pole to attach the camera that has an adjustable slide up and down. It also has completely adjustable poles on the sides for lights.
For the magnification I clip my 14X loop with a hemostat and slide it between the camera lens and the coin, then adjust the camera focus by moving up and down on the camera stand.

Oh ya. The layout is done in a PhotoShop program for layering pictures. Once you set the background picture you can layer as many pics as you want on top. The layers can either be opaque as these or you can adjust their transiency so you can compare details of one coin on top of another as an overlay. Really cool tool for coins!

I bought the table top camera / light stand on ebay for something like $50 as I remember. The light bulbs were the expensive part. They're true white compact florescent 30Watt photography bulbs that cost about $50 each, but they're great for getting true color and not to strong so the detail doesn't get washed out.

John would rather have the coin to examine himself. That way he could take images if it is a new discovery to him. Sending the images to him might be the first step? I might ask him if he would like to take a look at the forum for your coin. He might be able to see it quicker that way. In fact I'll do that now.
