I like these much more than the traditional hobo nickel art. I just recently started looking at these types of coins. They're fun. Edited by Darth Morgan

I appreciate the artistic talents it took to make those but they just are not my taste - yuck! Ike kind of looks like he has a cold and sneezed! (the two lines originating from his nasal hole extending out)

My guess is that the artist slipped while carving. But I guess they're not as distracting as Ike's new face. The carving on Jefferson blends in much better, but the Ike is unforgiving in its size when it comes to this sort of thing. There is nowhere to hide. There are some of these hobo coins that are just unbelievable. Take this one for example:   |
