I personally think you graded a bit too high. Lower to mid MS. Second thoughts?

Appears to be MS, but need better picture of the obverse, perhaps take it out of the 2x2 and shoot it so to get truer color. And larger for details.

From the above photos, I would place a grade of MS-61 or 62.

1941 is one of the common year and has one of the higher mintage count, there has to be lots of luster on both side in order to qualify for MS-64. Unless is missing from the way the pictures are taking.

can it be nothing better than MS-62 or 63 joust because of the lack of luster?

By the way is it actually white?

Take a look at the PCGS photograde I think it has MS-63 or better details.

It's a really nice dime, but I am thinking 63. One or two tiny black spots hold it back a bit.
Very light sctatch near 'L' (obv), and another under 'R' (rev).

Does it have white luster?

Also did anybody see the PCGS MS-69 Mercury dime on photograde, it looks worse than the MS-61 coin LOL

WHY is it MS-61 or 60?
Is it because of the detail, scratches, toning, that little black dot. Please explain.

I think some people are grading it on eye appeal rather than on the technical merits.

Consider this; generally an MS63 is your average MS coin. It has some bag marks, maybe one decent hit in a non focal area.

This coin is better than that. There are a couple of hits on the obverse that stand out to me, but really nothing that is so distracting that it would grade at the 63 level. I tend to overlook color when grading from a photograph.

I would be comfortable with a grade of MS64. I am not one of those that grades different years of the same series by different standards.

Just my Two Cents.
