Due to the high cost of living combined with legal fees & property settlement from a much needed divorce this past 4 years, I have been reduced from purchasing error coins/currency at will to inspecting current pocket change for minor varieties.

That said, in the past few weeks I received 5 coins in change that may be keepers, and instead of posting the photos of all five coins in one thread, I decided to break it up into three seperate (parts) threads.

The first 3 (of 5 coins) posted in this thread as Part #1 are LMC's, Part #2 (second thread) is coin #4 a 2013 Nickel, followed by part #3 (5th coin), a 2010 Dime.

The first two coins (1986 & 1996) have minor die cracks on the reverse side.

Coin #3 is a 2007 that looks to be brass plated (weighing in at 2.46 grams.
I use the self-checkout at my local grocery store and when my granddaughter removed the change she became very excited and said "Look Grandpa, I got a Gold Coin". The expression on her face was priceless.

The photos of the brass color due this coin no justice as it is quite brighter in hand.

The brass plate one looks legit but that finger print will hurt it a lot.The die cracks are common and in a common area on the coin.

Die cracks are common. I found them with many. I have one with three die cracks and another one with 9 die cracks. But unless they run all the way across the coin, they are not real interesting.
