Thank you for the kind responses.
I do find them interesting .. I expected post to be of coins I need to upgrade. Even though I think the coins look better than my pictures show.
When I look at it, I see the 37-S, 39-S and 40-D, that I want to get better coins for.
Of course once I get them ... I am sure other coins will catch my eye, for ones I can get better coins.

Nice collection. The silver proofs really stand out.

A great (and heavy) set. Most of my silver ones were taken from circulation so they have a certain appeal to me worn. In transferring to the new album I found I had a 1964 d in the (p) place. It made me sift my junk silver to find the right minted coin.

Milder, I agree this is a heavy book, eight pages.
I hope you are happy with how your book, mine started out the same way. I filled the 32 to 64 out of junk silver boxes, except for the 32 S/D.
If a person has a high coin budget, you could put this set together pretty easy. To me it is a challenge to get some of these coins in better grades at a good price. For the higher priced coins I think I am happy with VF/XF coins, unless the cost is not much more to get better.
I have taken this album right into coins shops, picked out some better grade coin, and asked how much to trade. Sometimes it is only a few dollars to give them mine and get a much better looking coin.

Fantastic set. I suggest putting a few at the end in those empty slots. Any would be OK just to make it look complete. As it stands now those make it look like you have a way to finish. One of the things I hate about Dansco. Just can't figure out how to make a completed set without empty slots somewhere. What you might want to do is get another Album. Then as you upgrade this one, put the ones taken from this set for set #2. That is what I do with all my sets. Unfortunately it never ends once you start that. Then there is set #3, #4, etc. forever.

That is really cool. Thanks for sharing. I can imagine the kids (or grand kids) eyes when you pull that out some rainy day...

GR58, awesome set my friend. :) That first page is a lot better off than mine. LOL And yep, those were the three I saw right off the bat that deserve improvement. Still cheaper than it will be to finish mine off.

Smokeriderdon .. You are doing your right, wait for the grade you want ... Then you won't have to up grade.
