Looks like a poor rinse Zincoln. Do a drop test with a 1981 and a known zinc. You will heat the thud associated with the zinc cents and not the ring of the copper cents.

It sounds like a zincoln. Someone told me 82 was the last year for copper thats why it struck me as odd.

1982 was a transitional year with brass alloy and copper-plated zinc planchets used.

It's a small date zincoln.See the zinc showing through on the reverse? The tiny bubbles all over the coin is a plating problem.
