I believe I agree. The reverse looks to be the beneficiary of a pretty weak strike, but the eye appeal is off the charts. For some reason, I really, really like the No Stars Dimes and Half-Dimes.

I initially planned to ignore them for the type set, but once I saw this one it was love at first sight. Seems to be a common theme for me and anything seated liberty. Now only if all of them had a no stars variety

Your coin is a dead ringer for the CoinFacts example graded XF40. In fact yours has a touch better obverse detail. XF40.

VF35 and so close to EF40, I too love the clean look of the no stars variety the best in this series and the Half Dimes.

EDITED: I think I'll change my grade to EF45 I think there is enough details in the head and hair. The shield is more than likely weakly struck than wear showing on it. It is a super original looking dime for sure!
