Hi all! Found this gem in a roll the other day and I have a friend that wants to buy... Was wondering what grade you would count it as? Figured we would take the advice you guys give on this one and work out a price accordingly.... I am a newbie so I am still learning grades, etc. So is he...Thanks in advance for any thoughts, opinions... What say you?

I'd put this one at G4 to G6.
Pretty neat find for a roll find but unfortionitly not really worth much. Well circulated common date wheats usually sell for .03-.06 cents apiece in lots (closer to the .03 of many later dates, closer to .06 if many teens and before.) Solo in a 2x2 maybe .10 - .15 cents... But that sounds pretty steep, I personally wouldn't pay more than .05 cents for a G common wheat. Actually, in all honesty I wouldn't even pay that... But that's probably just because I have buckets of extra wheats..
Honestly, I'd say if if he's a true friend and you don't need this coin for your set to just give it to him... It'll make you happy to help him out and will most definitley make his day... And who knows... Maybe he'll find one you need and return the favor sometime. To me at least that would mean more than getting a dime for it but to each his own...

Hi Rodney, It looks VG10/F12 or so to me with the small pics....not really worth that much, pass it on to him he'll think the best of you.

Sounds like a plan guys. I was thinking that myself as I knew it was not worth much....I shall gift him and hope that he enjoys it. I have one that is a little nicer (same year) in my book so why not? The main reason was grading advice... Do you guys have any good visual resources for grading lincolns? I found a couple on a search but they had no pics. Thanks for the advice and suggestions!
